About MIDAS ENT
MIDAS stands for Minimally Invasive Daycare Advanced Surgery. It began at MIDAS Hospital and Surgical Centre, Ollur, a hospital built for day-care surgery, where most operations are done with modern, minimally invasive techniques and patients go home the same day.
Our approach: MERA
Maximising Effectiveness, Retaining Anatomy. Every treatment is planned around two questions: what needs to be treated, and what should be protected. Diseased tissue is treated fully. Healthy tissue that still works is kept.
For example, the amount of adenoid or tonsil removed in a child is graded to the child's age and problem, rather than everything being removed by default.

Every doctor works from the same written MIDAS ENT protocols for diagnosis, treatment and surgery, so you get the same standard of care whichever doctor you see and whichever MIDAS ENT clinic you visit. Training ENT surgeons
MIDAS ENT trains young ENT surgeons in the MERA approach and the MIDAS ENT protocols, so that the same careful, function-preserving care can reach more patients.
